
Megan Esopenko

Megan Esopenko has worked on various parks and public realm projects that have ranged from small-scale parkette design to large-scale master planning initiatives, often converting bleak urban spaces into areas of ecological, social, and cultural significance. Megan has worked on the design of several of the firm’s projects, including Scissortail Park, a 70-acre park positioned to be the signature central open space of downtown Oklahoma City, and the University of California Merced Expansion. She is currently the Landscape Designer and Project Manager for Sixth Street Viaduct PARC, a12-acre urban park in Los Angeles which sits below the newly designed Viaduct, the Berkeley Marina Area Specific Plan, a public marina on the Berkeley waterfront, and most recently, the Silver Lake Reservoir Complex Master Plan, a 127-acre decommissioned reservoir in Los Angeles that will be turned into public park space for visitors and residents.
Ms. Esopenko holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Toronto, John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape and Design and a Bachelor of Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo, School of Planning. She also holds a Certification in Town Planning from the Oxford Brookes University.
