Duke University’s Student Center Plaza will be the crossroads between the east residential quadrangles and the west academic quadrangles. The plaza literally bridges between the Main Quad and the Student Center with a series of platforms providing programmatic elements to enliven and activate the spaces immediately adjacent to the main circulation route. It will be a new public and highly iconic space for the campus and students.
