This unique wastewater treatment facility performs as an educational facility as well as a major work of infrastructure. The public portions of the site include trails through the stormwater treatment landscapes as well as a community educational facility to help interpret the way we use our water resources. The trails connect to the habitat restoration north portion of the site that includes restored woodlands, meadows, wetlands and salmon rearing ponds. The enormous amount of excavation on the site is used on-site to sculpt a louvered landscape of open and closed views to the facility.
