Three handpicked teams recently presented their designs for the new Art Gallery of Nova Scotia, which will occupy an empty block on Lower Water Street in Halifax. The designs establish a new Arts District, revitalizing the waterfront boardwalk and creating a mixed-use community space. Hargreaves Jones, partnering with DS+R, has created a “living exhibit” in its landscape design, incorporating a pair of tidal inlets in anticipation of sea level rise.
