Love is Not Dead – The Beautification of Love Park

“Old Love Park was a bit of an obstacle course – cluttered and cramped with furnishings, walls, and multiple park levels, which to a degree disguised how big a place the park actually is.” –Shawn McCaney

The historical center that is Love Park began its renovation in 2016, with the sensational LOVE sculpture refurbished and finally returned to its home on February 13, 2018.

While the renovation is not finished yet, the new and improved Love Park has already positively impacted the city of Philadelphia. Bolstered by the hope and leadership of the community, this public center stands as a symbol of unity and civic life within the hearts of numerous Philadelphians.
